How I’d tell SOPHiA GENETICS’ story

I built this using SOPHiA GENETICS’ own webinar content.  My approach starts the same way every time: find the human stake buried in the science, lead with that instead of the product, build one core narrative, then adapt it across formats, a social post, an article, a slide deck, without losing the science that makes it credible.

A note on sourcing: this is based on the webinar’s transcript. Every figure was cross-checked against it, and I’d flag it for a scientific review pass before anything went external, the same step I’d build into any real workflow with a clinical or regulated audience.

Article Example Based On The Webinar

One of the key frameworks I use is repurposing content across channels. Here is an example of an article I would write based on the webinar.

LinkedIn Post Refresh

Swapped copy so that the post leads with the stakes, not the product. Original here.

A sample of updated slides:

Replaced the more complex title “Built for Complex Pharmacogenomics” with the hook itself:  “The test said ‘safe.’ For 28 patients, it wasn’t.”

Added a “why should I care” slide explaining what DPYD/DPD actually is and why getting it wrong is dangerous.

Where this goes next

The same method scales past social content. I’d apply it to restructuring a page like their webinar/resources hub, so the narrative leads before the feature list does, to corporate decks and one-pagers that pitch SOPHiA GENETICS to partners and press, and to internal storytelling for launches and company moments, where the audience already trusts the science and just needs the “why it matters” made memorable.
